Did you remember to sign up for the Cha Cha workshop this Sunday?

If not, be sure to contact the Jewish Community Center in York and get registered today if possible. Class size will be limited and you don't want to miss out. This workshop will start with the basic and quickly move into some fun and interesting moves. You don't have to know Cha Cha but you must have at the least, completed a beginner ballroom course. Complete details below. While you are at it, be sure to sign up for the Ballroom Brush up workshop as well. That one is perfect for anyone that is beyond basic's and needs to add some popular variations to their dance routine.

Moving onto May, I have some great class intensives scheduled at the 2Danc Studio. Starting on Tuesday, May 9th, there will be two 4 week programs - one on 6 count variations in W.C. Swing and one on Intensive Argentine Tango moves. It's time to move up the ladder in Tango and this class series is going to do that for you. Please see below for those details as well.

There was a camel that always wanted to be a ballerina
He studied very hard and accomplished much.
He was featured in a performance
At the end of the performance there was no applause.
His trainer apologized but said that he just wasn't built to be a ballerina
The camel said "I don't care, I'm having fun anyway".

Two Sunday Afternoon Dance Workshops

May 7, 2006 - Cha Cha Workshop at 1:00pm - 3:30pm; This afternoon will highlight the four most popular Latin Dance - Cha Cha. We will review the basic's and quickly move into some fun moves. There will be time for a short break and lot's of practice. Join me for some Hot Stuff!

May 21, 2006 - Popular Variations Ballroom at 1:00pm - 3:30pm; For the comfortable dancer knowing their basic's wanting to explore some of the fun steps and variations of the Foxtrot, Rumba and Waltz. We will be developing patterns, style, and learning valuable technique as well as having fun.

Cost: $40.00pp ($25.00 for Members), per workshop.

4-week Class Intensives on W.C. Swing and more Advance Tango

Class at 6:30pm to 8:00pm - W.C. Swing Variations; This Class Intensive is for the W.C. Swing dancer that wants to build on concrete elements of 6 count variations. This is the course for those wanting to learn creative dancing and connection in this fun Swing dance.

Class at 8:00 to 9:30pm - I Love 2Tango; This course is for the Tanguero dancer that is interested in developing new advance steps as well as perfect the elements, technique, and movements of this exotic and sultry dance. We will be working on more goncho and possibly Boleo moves.

Cost is $60.00pp for the 4 week Foundation or Intermediate Tango class intensive course $17.00 per class for drop in's. (1 hour 30 minute classes) -

This is a 3865 sq. foot ballroom with over 2000 sq. feet of wood dance floor! Kick Beginner and Intermediate Dance Lesson at 4:30pm, dance from 5:00pm to 7:45pm. Cost $10.00pp - $5.00 for student with ID.

May 26 (Fri) Swango! Argentine Tango and Swing with Latin in between Dance at BPO Elks #213 in York, PA the fourth Friday of the month. Couples and Singles all ages welcome; Argentine Tango lesson with Vera Kywa starts at 8:00pm on basic's and 8:30pm for advance.
